Docsa Health 0.2: Appointments & Medications Are Here
We're excited to announce Docsa Health 0.2, our biggest update yet. This release introduces two highly requested modules: Appointments and Medications — giving you even more control over your healthcare from a single platform.
Appointments Module
Managing your medical appointments just got a whole lot easier. With the new Appointments module, you can:
- View all your upcoming and past appointments in one organized timeline
- See appointment details including provider, location, date, and status at a glance
- Schedule new appointments directly from the app — no phone calls needed
- Cancel appointments when plans change, with a single click
- Track appointment status from scheduled through completed
Your Dashboard now features an Appointments widget so you can see what's coming up the moment you log in.
Medications Module
Keeping track of medications can be challenging, especially when managing multiple prescriptions. The new Medications module helps you stay on top of it all:
- View your full medication inventory organized by status — active, paused, and completed courses
- Add new medications with dosage, frequency, and stock tracking
- Record doses taken to maintain an accurate intake history
- Track your supply with automatic stock updates and low-stock alerts
- Manage medication courses — start, pause, resume, or complete treatment plans
- Refill and update your medication stock as needed
Family Profile Support
Both new modules fully support our family management features. If you manage health records for your children or family members, you can seamlessly switch between profiles to view and manage appointments and medications for each person.
What's Under the Hood
This release also includes important infrastructure improvements:
- Medical data services for storing structured health information following international standards
- Improved API reliability with retry logic for better performance under load
- Enhanced security for cross-profile data access
